MSF

Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an independent humanitarian medical aid organisation. They are committed to providing medical aid where it is most needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender and also to raising awareness of the plight of the people they help.

For 40 years they have provided quality medical care to people affected by armed conflict, natural disasters, epidemics or exclusion from healthcare. They run clinics, perform surgery, operate feeding centres, carry out mass vaccination campaigns and offer mental healthcare.

In 1999 they were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of their pioneering humanitarian work.
